Comparing Features: Planner Premium and Project Online

Microsoft Planner and Project Plan 3 or 5 licenses (formally called P3 and P5) will give you access to both products, but the big question is, “Are they integrated with each other?”

If you were to view the Microsoft licensing page at https://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/microsoft-365/planner/microsoft-planner-plans-and-pricing, you would see that it does not separate the product and features (Planner Premium and Project Online) within each license SKU.

So, we have created a feature comparison document to highlight the differences between Microsoft Planner Premium (previously named Project for the web) and Project Online.

Please note that this document will be updated as the Microsoft Project Product team releases new features.
